4 Sisters Volunteering in The Coulee Region
- Volunteered as an auditor for 2016 Miss Onalaska
- Participated and raised funds for Smarter than a 5th Grader
- Hosted and Donated to JDRF Organization
- Hosted Purses with a Purpose to raise money for the Women’s Fund
The Emerald Ball, Children’s Miracle Network
Children’s Miracle Network is dedicated to improving the lives of children. Gundersen Lutheran assists children and their families by supporting pediatric programs and services that help children battling diseases and injuries of every kind.
The Emerald Ball is an event where donors and supporters are able to come together to support this great cause. It is a night filled with entertainment and dining to celebrate this great service.
Essential Health Clinic
Essential Health Clinic is a safe and confidential clinic for women and men to turn to for support and education of sexual health. Essential Health provides women with annual exams to prevent or detect early stages of breast or cervical cancer.
Men and women are provided with access to birth control to have a better chance to achieve their goals in life before starting a family and STD prevention. They educate adolescents in sexual health by providing ways to stay abstinent or a place to come to that will provide contraception or condoms when engaging in sexual behaviors.
Taste of the Coulee Region
Taste of the Coulee Region is a gathering at Nell’s City Grill where
people are able to taste amazing food, drink specialty wines, coffee, and teas, and enjoy live entertainment and art displays.
The proceeds of this event benefit the programs of the YWCA. The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
One of the nation’s largest healthcare networks that meets patient’s needs for primary and specialized care. Gundersen Lutheran provides people with:
- Medical practices
- Community clinics
- Home care
- Behavioral health services
- Vision centers
- Air and ground ambulances
They also have a western clinic campus to educate students on medicine, public health, and a school for nursing.
Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign
The Red Kettle campaign helps aid struggling families, seniors, and homeless through the Christmas season. Volunteers stand outside stores ringing a bell for donations in the spirit of the holiday season.
These donations provide Christmas dinner, clothing, and toys for families and people in need. These donations can also aid in financial assistance for basic necessities after the Christmas season.
Steppin’ Out in Pink
Steppin’ out in Pink is a walk for all ages to remember or support loved ones who have or are currently battling breast cancer.
This event raises money for breast cancer research as well as awareness programs and patient services for breast care.
Tiny Tim is a fundraiser to support area organizations that share our interest in a healthy community and maintaining a high quality of life. This event is held in The Cargill Room at The Waterfront. Guests are able to enjoy an evening of wonderful food, entertainment, and auction items.

- Franciscan Healthcare Auxiliary Program
